Default anybody know why?

I installed a short ram intake into my 96 accord, why am i loosing miles i get to a tank of gas. I am not driving any different than i did befor I had it installed.

modifications decrease gas mileage, not increase.

tune up maybe?

Fuel Filter
Spark plugs
Oil Change
New Cap, Rotor, & Wires
BG Injector Cleaner
BG Deposit control addiditive

that might help restore your gas mileage a little

Exactly. thats your problem, your stock air box was pulling in cooler air than that thing you have on there now.

its a compromise , the only way to get hp is to loose gas mileage... or boost/nos...(those dont count! lol)

Seriously, an intake wouldn't make much of a difference.

You're the problem. You're probably gunning it and driving it harder to hear and "feel" your new mod.

but honestly since I have had the intake I can tell a difference in the boost than when I did not have it
