anybody know why?

I installed a short ram intake into my 96 accord, why am i loosing miles i get to a tank of gas. I am not driving any different than i did befor I had it installed.

modifications decrease gas mileage, not increase.

tune up maybe?

Fuel Filter
Spark plugs
Oil Change
New Cap, Rotor, & Wires
BG Injector Cleaner
BG Deposit control addiditive

that might help restore your gas mileage a little

Exactly. thats your problem, your stock air box was pulling in cooler air than that thing you have on there now.

does it really matter? it's an accord.

lol, thats cracked me up

its a compromise , the only way to get hp is to loose gas mileage... or boost/nos...(those dont count! lol)

Seriously, an intake wouldn't make much of a difference.

You're the problem. You're probably gunning it and driving it harder to hear and "feel" your new mod.

but honestly since I have had the intake I can tell a difference in the boost than when I did not have it

What kind of boost are you making with the intake?
