Default Any reputable tranmission shops near p-town?

with my recent tranny woes, ive reached a point where i cant work on it myself anymore. I need to have it looked at by a professional now and im not sure where to go without getting ripped a new one financially. In case youre wondering, here's the problem:

LJ Wood has the worst customer service-when he's done talking to you on the phone he just hangs up. But I've had 3 differnt trannys done and they all kicked ass-I'd rather have short talks than a bad tranny.

yup. i have the official repair manual and im THIS close to tackling this job myself and ordering the new synchros online somewhere. it will be a bitch taking this thing to a shop now that its opened up but im not sure i can put it back together properly...its a pretty intimidating design and its my first time. I'd like to get lucky and find a junked prelude and grab the tranny out of there but 9 out of 10 preludes i find around here arent going to have the M2A4 tranny and the H23 tranny cant handle 7500 rpm shifts. Ill end up breaking that too. Where would be a good place to start looking?

Well dude. KyleVA on here tore apart his transmission a couple of weeks back, and rebuilt it with a new differential. He had no prier knowledge of how to do it. His car has been to hell and back since the LSD install. It's been fine.

Or. You could take it to Honda. At least you'll know its proper. PM me if your interested.
