Alexanders on the bay
I was just curious if any of you have ate there before. I have a 30$ gift card that expires tom so i was gonna use it. But the reviews on yahoo sounded like the place wasnt that great bc of bad service and expensive pricing. If you have any comments please let me know.

Like said, $30 isn't going to go very far.
I haven't been in there since it burned down, and got rebuilt, but as far as local are restaurants go, it WAS solid. It isn't anything mind blowing, but it certainly isn't shit. Also, one of the few places that do escargot, and do it well. When I had Wisteria up on Pleasure House Rd, we did quite a few lunch/dinner trades with shuttled customers from Westminster-Canterbury and the Chef at the time knew what he was doing.
I would be really disappointed if it has turned into a shit show. . .Alexanders, Stienhelbers, and the former La Chambord were the only 2 restaurants away from the resort area that were "Fancy" and provided a really nice, full service experience.
