So I was thinking about getting 20% tint instead of the 35/50% I already have. Just curious to see how many people have gotten tickets for illegal tint in the area.

 

i had 15% for about 3 months and got 2 tickets, both from the State Police.

local cops, didn't care...but the state police would always get me for tint and nothing else. I loved it though, my car is black so it really set it off.

Looks nice!! Damn!!!! Wish I had out of state plates sometimes!! Those state troopers....how much did the tickets run ya if you dont mind me asking..

 

Just FYI, for everyone and every future reference, out of state plates don't make shit of a difference, you still have to obey the state laws that you are entering.

 

Ive had 5% for two years now, and been good to go thus far ... and i drive everywhere.

i drove for 8mths w/ my max w/ 20% tint. never got any tix...

sold the max, and ill admit... im worried about tinting my new car w/ 20% again.

i think a lot has to do w/ the driver's driving habbits...

some people drive like they got a huge sign that says "PULL ME OVER!"

Ive been pulled over with the tint too, nothing. Maybe its cause Im a domestic, idk

 

I have 15% on my civic and I love it. I got one ticket...but thats because i got pulled for exhaust and got the book thrown at me from a young trooper trying to make a point....
