got a ticket today on dam neck, apparently i have 7% tint i knew it was dark but damn!

 

i have 20% and have never been pulled over yet

 

I had 14% and never had an issue

 

yea i don't think tint is really a big issue, i mean just the idea of cops lookin strictly for people with cosmetic violations doesn't make sense..they have bigger things to worry about... they probably notice it when u get pulled over doing something else wrong like speed or run a red light or something... lol just my 2 cents

 

i have 20% all around, one ticket in a year and a half. i normally drive with the windows down though.

 

I've had 20% tint on my car for about 6 months and have never been pulled over yet.

 

i have 5% tint on my 99 SS and ive been pulled over once, and it was at night time too. the cop put his little tool on my window and said i have 2% tint. i think the ticket is like $75 bucks. i got out of it though.

i got 35%front 20%back on my gmc and never been pulled but on my old crx i got a ticket for the same tint from chesapeakes finest

 

very true, but both of mine were just wrong place at the wrong time.

the first one i got was on Magruder and the cop was sitting in the median. I went by him at the speed limit and he pulled out and pulled me over. It was a younger officer and a much older one, and the older one "walked him through" the entire ticket writing process. So i was basically just a practice run on something simple (tint ticket) for a rookie cop.

the second ticket was on 64 near richmond. I got a flat tire on my way home from work and the officer pulled up behind me as i was changing it, wrote me my ticket and than asked if i needed any help
