We are seeking individuals to write 200-500 word articles for us on a consistent basis (~5-10 per month). The topics can include, but are not limited to: automotive enthusiast related content, product reviews, features and interviews, event coverage, local interest pieces and more. You should have a firm grasp of accurate, energetic and creative writing. You should also be a self-starter and comfortable coming up with story ideas on your own.

That brings the total number of vehicle classifieds sub-forums to four. One each for Honda/Acuras, Non-Honda Asian Imports, European Imports and Domestics. This should help ease the congestion and create a better user experience for everybody.

The first thing you’ll notice is this new front page for VADriven. The forums have served as the primary function of the site and will continue to be so. However, with some new ideas planned to push forward in publishing unique and fresh content, this blog will soon become just as much a major aspect of the overall community as the forums have been. We have some great ideas in store that we believe will become an important new channel for VADriven.

For now, take a look around and enjoy the improvements that you’ll find in the forums and some new features that we will be promoting heavily in the future. We’re very excited about where this new direction is headed and hope that excitement will translate to an even better experience for our members, vendors and overall community at large.

Of course we want this site to be the central hub of our community, but that doesn’t mean we can’t take advantage of everything the web has to offer these days. Many of you, like me, have made friends and connections with people that have trascended just the internet. We plan on offering some unique promotions and features across the social networks that you won’t want to miss out on!

We’re not worrying about any kind of special names like “Ride of the month” or anything like that, we just want to know who’s doing what these days and share it with the rest of our world. I admit I haven’t been the most fully engaged in what people are working on these days, so educate me! Check out this current thread and find out details on how to get our attention and let’s see what we have going on. Sure it’s no Import Tuner feature (lol), but I’m confident in the fact that there are projects going on within with local tuners, shops and crews that should be shared.
