Default Window help

anyone know anything about door windows and might be able to help me out? My window went out on me and won't roll back up? Its a crank not automatic.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated too.

any idea on how i may be able to get it back on its tracks? Took the door panel off and had serious problems trying to get to the pulleys.

get a regulator. gonna need to replace it, more then likely. even if you get the cables back on.....it will do it again. actually, call Bills or Agees, they have aftermarket new ones for the same cost of a used one.

If it's like my window there is a piece that holds the window on track @ the top. Mine will, on occasion, pop loose and keep it from rolling back up. So now I just leave my door panels off so I can just pop it back together.

nice....yours has a solid mechanical regulator, and the nissans have a cable style regulator. usually...the plastic rollers will crack, or one of the retainers will break. involves replacing the regulator, usually. gonna be the best bet.

the metro is like that too......no door panel. i have trashed two doors already....seems like high SPL's tend to vibrate the beer can door welds apart...trashing the window tracks. my window CONSTANTLY falls out of track, nescessitating the "assistance" of me to raise the damn thing.

i got used to it.......its the beater, ya know
