Williamson Road Death
Wow, suspended because of fines? Seriously? That's the worst reason to let your license get suspended.
It would also suck to have someone crash into your house and die on your lawn or in your living room, technically. I feel bad for the passengers for being there when it happened.

I had seen him do things to help people though and generally he just liked to laugh. In all honesty, he simply wanted to fit in and be "cool." He was 21, but I saw him as more of a kid. He was easily put up to things because he thought people would like him more, and mostly everything he did socially was driven by him wanting friends. In his defense, he had an extra female chromosome or something, and by his own words, made him have the mind of a ~14 year old female. He was on testosterone producing supplements because of this... he was a little slow. I don't think he was responsible enough to be driving in the first place.
I can build a case against him all day, but when it comes down to it, he died at a very young age. He wasn't out doing the whole car scene thing thinking "hey, this may hurt me or other people." I don't think he ever had bad intentions with it.
I see your point about the chase... the whole situation just sucks. Drew really was a good kid... he just acted before he thought. I think he still has a couple more siblings... but his family really has it tough. Their house burned to the ground a couple years ago and they lost everything... then shortly thereafter, his mother battled cancer. She works at Wal-Mart in Bedford, and lets face it, Wal-Mart does not pay their people what they are worth. Personally I would like to raise money to help the Drew's family as well as Zach and Travis because I don't think Drew had car insurance. None of the boys in the car had a license. I know I will hear a lot of negativity because ultimately Drew caused the accident... but no matter what he did... he was still someone's brother, son, grandson, nephew, and friend. I saw the pain in his parent's eyes tonight and it just broke my heart. I could not imagine the pain of losing a child. I really would like to help all 3 families... so with that being said... if anyone is interested in helping out with funeral costs or medical bill for the 3 families involved... PM me on here.
Lets see... he had his license suspended, never stopped driving. He was driving a mid 90s s10 that was loud as hell, beat up to shit, and bedford city KNEW this vehicle and him (due to causing trouble in vehicles before and going to jail for robbing car washes) so they were GOING to pull him over if they saw him. Well, he got pulled over 2 days before he was going to get his license back and got a ticket of course. He continued to drive, and drove himself to court for this ticket, the license was suspended further, and as he drove away from the court house, the cop who wrote him the ticket before followed him then pulled him over on his way home from court. He told me if he got caught again, he was going back to jail... probably why he ran.

Exactly. It is sad, he's 21, and dead... like I've told other people shit talking, I've been faster than 115mph, been in wrecks, and know many people that have done dumber shit. Granted, I don't think I'd drive 115mph through a residential neighborhood endangering tons of people (this is the part that kills sympathy from lots of people) but I've never been facing jail time either. How many times has everyone on here done somethign in a car or on a bike that could have potentially killed them? It's a gamble everytime that everyone here has done it. Unfortunately, "drew" got a bad hand this time, and most everyone that's playing monday-morning quarterback was delt a better hand to begin with than he was.

Ill be the first to say I have done stupid shit. However I was also smart in doing stupid shit to where if something happened I was the only one who would get hurt/killed. It sucks he died but if people would use their head and think for a bit then this guy would still be alive. (and probably have a license)
This guy was delt a bad hand and went all in. That's just stupid.
Just because you are delt a bad hand doesnt mean you have to bet anything.

No, my point was that there is no excuse to repeated bad choices in driving.
I know what you were saying about him not being a bad guy and stuff like that. But, if you get burned by the same thing 7 or 8 times (or more) dont you think you would maybe learn not to try your luck anymore or change the way you live so you dont put yourself in that posistion?
RIP to the dude, and glad no one else was killed.

have some respect.
I was out of line by locking, but reopened and will let it slide. my apologies to those if they were offended, but I got a gut feeling this will end up bad.
