I was on another forum and mentioned that I thought the new mustang was a flop based on the number of cars I see around here on the street, plus the fact that all the lots seem to have them piled up and the last time I went by magic city they had actually moved them off the street level back into the lot somewhere.

The people on the other forum stated that in there areas of the county Midwest and NE they were selling like crazy and were everywhere.

So am I missing something? Are these things everywhere around Roanoke and I’m just not seeing them? Or are they a flop in this area?

I think the majority of them are still on the lots....

But, it could be that the V6 was the first one released, and a lot of people waited on the V8 or are waiting on the Cobra.

I like the car personally, but I can't see paying the markup most of the people around here are charging. I know a friend who bought one and paind $4000 over sticker price. Of course, he has that kind of money, so he would have bought it if it was $20k over sticker....

I think they suck, personally. I'm looking forward to the new Cobra's, sort of.

Maybe Ford will prove me wrong, but I think it was a stupid mistake to release the V6 models before anything else.

Hell in the Hampton/Va Beach area, they are almost as common as Civics now. I see probably 15 - 20 a day on the streets.

There are 4-5 here on campus at Radford. One is brand new with a little white kid bumping his system.. trunk rattling and all.

I saw three parked in front of my apartment in Oakbridge. I didnt look to see if they were all v6s, but i know one of them is because he always parks there.
