Yup... and got a ticket. "Inoperable boat safety equipment"... My fire extinguisher didn't work when the po-leez fired it. $35, $71 court costs.
The lift is sitting in my floor. I'm scoping for something with better gas mileage at the moment before lifting it, $150 minimum a week isn't fun... stay away from the tahoe.
It's summer time, so they better be cool with flip flops or I'll have to change their rules for them.
Hmmmm... Interesting...

Were they just being retarded?
He told me that he "really appreciated my cooperation, we don't always get that"... then gave me a ticket. He pulled me over in a no-wake zone when I was waiting to get out.
P.S... the lake was great this weekend... not too many people out at all, a couple of the coves we frequent were like glass. A few friends got some good wakeboarding/skiing time in. I think the storm prediction scared everyone off... and we got what, rain for 3 minutes once each day?
Dude, we were sitting at Mango's (Bridgewater) when all of the sudden the sky got BLACK! That shit rolls over the lake with the quickness, like a ninja. It was cool though. I'd rather enjoy crazy shitty weather at the lake or at the beach than just running around Roanoke or sitting at home. It felt so good out there though!
I've been pulled over on the lake before too LLama... Years ago, a drunk friend thought it would be a good idea to literally show his ass to a pontoon full of older folks. Well, as we were passing by, he didn't see the patrol boat sitting next to the pontoon conversing with the folks.. LOL! A few seconds later we're getting pulled over. Embarassing, but always funny to tell that story.

One time last summer we were just chilling in a small cove and a tri-hull started doing circles around us pulling tubers... tri-hulls put of pretty nasty wakes. They kept doing it... so we just did mini circles around them until they got the point... that, and the bass fishermen rednecks in flocks of 100 that tie up public ramps for an hour when launching, are the only negative things I've experienced from people out there.
You got a boat or jet ski?
