I have ideas on carbing a b18b1 going into an 85 civic sedan anyone with knowledge on carbs can chime in if they want
whats your ultimate goal exactly, i mean...that will definitely determine the route you go with the carb, and honestly i wouldn't waste the time on the b18b1, for the small power gain you'd recieve, you could slap some internals in what you've got, gasket match everything, upgrade the ignition, and run a weber 32/36.

Just to something different and more challenging, kinda keep it the same bit innovate a little bit. As in power gain I'm not worried its going to more of a cruiser anyways

well, the b series swap is going to be just bolting it in there i think they've got mounts to put a b series in that chassis...you can use stock ignition. it'll need a fuel pump upgrade...you'll need to run a better pump with a manual regulator at about 5psi, then the weber redline kit is about $300.

i've been through and through the honda factory carbs and weber stuff, so if you decide to do that or tweak whats in it let me know. i'll hook you up with the carbureted help

Hmm I've been debating what I want to do here I want to lay it out on paper to see what I'm looking at. I only chose the b1 because i don't want to have to lock vtec in/out or I would go b16. Otherwise thanks for the great input so far hopefully this project will start moving soon once i pick the car up.

Also aimed whp projections are around 170 so i think that will be fairly easy to accomplish with changing over to carb setup. I may be getting my hopes up though

That was the Roanoke Mountain overlook, Kev.. Never been up there?

That part was just filler footage really. Looked bad with all the glare on the windshield and my failure at getting the bugs off of my windshield. I just had an urge to get some nature shots, mainly.

Got a few things I'd like to try, and I have a nice mic now that I'd love to get some good audio of your car with. I'm working on building a DIY boom and camera slider. We'll get some good stuff soon. I have some ideas!

thats awesome...nope never been up there, but i'd love to. Are the roads good enough to where I could take my car up there??

That sounds great...let's make it happen soon. I just wanna hear what it sounds like now...sounds so different inside the car than outside. I'd like to do a tunnel run and a drive-by. Like have it mounted on your jeep or another car while i drive by...i think that would be cool.

And yeah I notice the bug when you was cleaning the windshield...it was a stubborn sumbitch lol
