Is your team like the globetrotters? Can I catch you at the civic center for some $10 entertainment? Or maybe your team is the one playing against the globetrotters, either way we need at least one loser in order to have a winner!

Team -

A team comprises any group of people or animals linked in a common purpose. A group in itself does not necessarily constitute a team.

Sorry guys, looks like they are a team!

Team-
1. A group on the same side, as in a game.
2. A group organized to work together: a team of engineers.
A. Two or more draft animals used to pull a vehicle or farm implement.
B. A vehicle along with the animal or animals harnessed to it.
3. A group of animals exhibited or performing together, as horses at an equestrian show.
4. A brood or flock.

What game is being played? I know they're throwin it to each other but that doesn't count. That's the only way they could possibly almost be a team.

Cite your source. It doesn't even matter, there are plenty more definitions of the same word from other reputable/legit sources. Just because your one source does not have it, does not mean you can throw it out the window. My definition still stands = you lose.

Who cares? They can call themselves a team, a crew, a flock, a gaggle, a herd, or whatever they want to. What difference does it make to anyone else?
