I guess that is what makes them a team. They're friends who race. I guess that sums it up? You could call it a club, but that might seem more like a group of people who show their cars together. On the other hand people who do car shows, also have team "so and so" in their name somtimes. So I guess in simple term if there is a group of people who compete against others, it makes them a team. I don't see anyway to break it down further lol.
