So whats going on with everybody? I've been gone for a couple weeks with school, vacation, and working on the car. Did I miss anything?

I didn't notice either. But boy, now that I know you're back, I'm so relieved.

I broke an axle Friday night. Fun fun. Ready to get rid of the car and get something reliable.

 

How did you not notice I was gone? No arguing, crazy threads, and people making fun of me wrecking?

BTW, how did you break an axle? Drag strip?

 

Nope. I think the axle was on its way out.. I had been hearing a noise that sounded sort of like I had a low tire. You know how it makes that barely audible noise when a tire is low? I assume that was my axle warning me that it wanted to break.

I didn't even launch the car or anything, and haven't in quite some time. That's what sucks. Things only break when I'm NOT driving it hard. Of course, that's probably as a result from driving it hard to begin with, but it's ironic that it breaks when it's being babied.

So much for stage 2 axles.
