i'd still take the new mx5 over it

 

The interior looks like crap to me. As if someone shoved a granade up a cats ass and let it explode! To much red.

I was expecting more in the power department. 170HP I4, guess its going to have more bark than bite from the "looks" of the car.

It looks ok from the outside but its takes more than looks for me.

but it's probably the nicest affordable thing to come from GM in awhile..

 

I like the exterior and style of it overall, but the car is weak in terms of performance. I'm not sure how well it handles, but doesn't it make less than 200hp to the crank? I guess it's reasonable considering the price and performance, but I think more people would fork out $5,000 more to have the car put down 75hp more or so, and it would be able to get out of its own way.

 

you guys seem to keep forgetting that the sky/solstice are meant to compete with the mx5...

I would take this over the mx5 any day of the week..

And you guys forget that they are releasing one later with either a supercharged or turbocharged 2.2 liter... oh yea, and it has optional LSD.

 

Thats stupid. It should be standard option.

 

It's a Saturn, why would it come with standard performance options?

 

Not really, it's a better idea from many standpoints because it lowers the base price and not everyone buyer would want/need it. Besides, not many cars come factory with it in the first place.
