A very close friend of mine received word yesterday morning that her 12 year old son was stabbed in the chest at school and had to be air-lifted to UVA.
Shortly after Wesley got to school he saw a boy and girl arguing, he feared the girl would get hurt so he stepped in. As he did the boy stabbed him in the chest. Boy is currently charged with malicious(sp) wounding (my friend is pushing for attempted murder) and Westly is in critical condition.

MIDDLE SCHOOL? My God! He's in my prayers.. Kids that age have no business playing thug! I mean, it's not cool at any age, but what the hell is some middle school kid doing stabbing someone? I hope he gets to spend some time in a REAL prison--not some kids camp. Let him share a cell with a REAL murderer.

 

All the more reason to teach my kid self defense although it may not have worked so great in this situation I'm sure it will help him out at some point while in school ... Hope the boy is ok ...

 

Where are the schools? A better question is where are the parents? It’s another senseless act by some kid with shit for parents. Sorry to here about this happening.

Thanx everyone, as of right now his operation was sucessfull, that all i know right now. God knows she was up all night worried about him so i will give her a call later tonight and keep everyone posted.

I swear. Last year montgomery county had a problem with a gun at school and now this. What is the world comming too.

I have a 12yo boy, I couldn't imagine. I hope he's alright. My wife and I were just talking today about Blacksburg and how the schools are pretty good.
