You don't seem to get it about college either. I know people with fucking Masters degrees who can't find a job in their field of study. Having a college degree does not mean everything. Take your degree in a interview against 3 other candidates all with multiple years of experience in the field and you will find out you will 99 times out of 100 not get the job.

How am I determing your Intelligence Qoutient? I'm going by the facts presented by me through your posts. IQ tests and the like mean very little in today's society. Take idiot savants for instance.

I'm not going to sit here and tell you my salary/pay rate or anything of the sort. All I will tell you is right now I am sitting in St. Louis, MO in a Drury Inn hotel room that is paid for as is my food, travel time, vehicle, gas, etc by the company I work for. I will work from now until Tues. and then I will be home and off until Wed. of the following week. Not too shabby for a "dumbass 21 year old with no college".

College only takes you so far and right now you don't have the maturity or even remote comprehension of life to really grasp any good jobs. Even with some BS piece of paper that says you passed some classes you are not going to make it far Dex.

Actually, that was a good post. +1. But I know these things. My uncle went to his first semester in college and flunked, never to return. He now runs a mortgage company, has 2 houses at the beach, owns tons of land, and makes over 150K a year. Hell my dad barely graduated high school and he makes over 50K a year. I am not trying to say you are stupid. You called me stupid. (I suck at this kind of arguing because I don't like to hurt peoples feelings. I know, I'm fucking soft.)

I am not trying to put you down or trying to say a college degree is everything. If you like doing what you are doing, then you are doing better than any millionaire who hates their job. I know a degree doesn't get the job. I have worked since I was able to at 15, and have experience in sales and customer service. I understand what it takes.

Concerning college and jobs in the area, being a business major at roanoke college, you seriously have to almost try to not get a job, if you are staying locally.. I have gotten COUNTLESS internship emails, like one a week, for local possible career opportunities. Roanoke College, atleast, is real good about trying hard for their graduates to get them jobs. If you get along with several of the professors, many have some serious hookups and can get you places.. I guess this is a benefit in a smaller college.. I just happened to have an internship opportunity fall in my lap thanks to one of my fav. professors, and it fit me, so I jumped on the opportunity.. I am hoping it leads to a career, which it very well could, but in the mean time, I am stuck makin' $8000 a year part time
