Okay, my girlfriend's Civic DX hatchback needs a muffler and possibly a new piece of pipe. She has mentioned several times wanting to fix it up a little, so we both figured now would be a good time to put a cat-back on it. She doesn't want anything loud, and she doesn't want a huge canister. She wants something that looks similar to the stock one, but has a little better sound. Any advice?

apex'i WS (worldsport) is probably one of the quietest exhausts on the market. the muffler and the tip maybe too big though.

thermal r&d's catback system usually mocks the oem setup in muffler designing. probably the best sounding exhaust for n/a hondas. rguy has this setup and i did too with the prelude.

RS*R, a little pricy, but it's exactly what you're looking for.

I agree. Thermal is a great catback, and I actually found out it is sourced parts from magnaflow too.

Sounds great too.

My sister had apexi on her 99 Ex, sounded pretty good. And my friend shawn has Konig on his ex, and it sounds real good too. The Konig has a much smaller muffler and looks a little bit more stock than the apexi.
