THEY HAVE THE SAME ENGINE!!!!!!!!!!!!

the galant and the eclipse gt share the same engine platform. the same 3.0 liter 6 cylinder pumping out 200 hp (205) from the fed spec model. The reason why i wasnt sure is because its impossible to tell from the picture you provided. but what i was sure about is the engine. and the years/ models it came with.

sall good y0 sorry if i was a bit harsh on the last statement. but yeah..i used to be a 3g buff...those are really good cars imo. though they will never live up to the standard of the 1g and 2g eclipse...they have their own devot group at www.neweclipse.org they are a bunch of good people and the site is well laid out. happy modding on ur new investment.
