So far all i've found is VTI or something like that.. in VA beach (yea I can't remember the name of the school already) anything closer than VA beach??
If people keep pissing me off around here I might just move up to VA beach for a while..

I think thats the only auto tech school in v.a.There is nashville auto collage (but i have heard its near crack town)My friends didnt like it.Do you just want to know how to service cars,or get a real job serviceing cars?
www.nadc.edu i am an alumni......
however, it is in the ghetto, but that end of town is under HEAVY renovation. has changed alot since i graduated from there four years ago...for the better. the instructors have a lot to teach, it is up to you to see if you want to learn it.
My cousin is going to UTI (no, not that
, Universal Technical Institute), and it is not too bad, but more expensive. as for the ones at NRCC and VWCC, they are a joke......
in reality, the only thing most people get from auto trade schools is a piece of paper, the greatest teacher of automotive workings is to get in there and get dirty.
i have been taking shit apart since i was 2, and putting it back together since i was 8....you know if you have the mechanical aptitude, which it looks like you do, and need some fine tweaking to get it better....
if you have any ?'s...please feel free to ask, i will help how i can.

I want to do this so I can get a job in automotive. I want to manage a shop or maybe own my own.. But right now i'm having one hell of a time getting into the auto industry. No one will give me a damn chance. Dude at firestone sumed it up.. 50% of the customers will ignore me..But I work hard and i'll get the rest to trust me.. All I need is someone to take a chance on me...
NO ON IS TAKING A CHANCE! lol I KNOW I can do this.. I KNOW I can be good.. so freakin agrivating!!

Dunno really. Best bet is to just look around. Schools won't teach you much. Just hang out with people like Me and Matt or Joey and his friends or something and you will learn alot. I've learned my share from Matt but don't tell him that.
You just have to get down and dirty. You can read all the mags and internet stuff you want...The true learning starts when you own one or work on one. Car audio was the same for me in some ways.
Dunno what else to say.
