Burger joints suck for pay. Wal-Mart pays at a minimum of $6.15 hourly. They are always hiring. Also there is a new LOWES opening soon in Fairlawn also. I would aim for those emplyers if your looking to make a little more than minimum wage.

Also the benefits from Wal-Mart are really good. If you have management experience they usually start above $9 at Wal-mart I do belive.

 

Go to the VEC and sign up, they'll tell you what "better" types of jobs are out there. What type of work are you looking for anyway?

 

Thanks for the responses. I am looking for something part time while I am in school. I have already worked at wendys and burger king dont want to work there again. I have applied to walmart just waiting to here back.

 

Burger joints pay better than Wal-Mart then dude.. I think Taco Bell had a sign up saying they pay $8+ an hour.

I doubt Taco Bell pays their regular hourly associates that much. They probably may thier shift leaders and management that much.

I think Wal-Mart starts thier manager trainees at like $9 or something. When they finish the course they make much much more. I think its somwhere around $12+ hourly. Depending on past experience. You get incentives also. Like if you held a job for at least 3 consistant years within the past 5 years you get an additional $0.50 hr. There are a couple of other incentives also.
