I need a trailer...
My dad asked me to see if I could look around and locate a trailer just big enough to carry two relatively large four wheelers for a reasonable price. He specified that he wants it to have a wood bottom/floor for some reason, but I haven't been able to get exact dimensions on how big is big enough yet. Anyone have any suggestions on where I should start looking?
Chad: You seem to know every small business owner in Virginia.
Any leads?

7x17 dual axle with brakes for 800. twin ramps, wood floor. its a 7000lb trailer too.
might be a little too big for what you are looking for (we haul 8 quads on it to WVA every spring)
its time to get a longer trailer (tired of taking ramps off every time i haul a car, which is often.)
its a 2 5/16 ball though, i got a feeling its too big for what you want.

If that's the trailer Joey used to take his car to the track on, it's a nice one. But, yes, it is big. For just a couple quads it will be overkill. But, then you have a good excuse to buy a couple more quads....
What are you going to pull it with?

Yeah, that's probably a bit too big.....
2 quads is already enough for us.. That's all we need. His buddy hauls the other 6 on his trailer when they go riding. He's going to be towing it with an '02 Dodge Dakota (v8) -- nothing special
I appreciate any help you guys can give, and so does he.

Adam, We have a 12ft trailer that you could easily get two quads on. It has a wood bottom and a grated gate/ramp. We may be getting rid of it in the near future since got a dual axle car trailer.

His requests were the larger high speed tires, and he said it doesn't need to have separate brakes or anything fancy.. Just wants to haul two ATV's on it and that's all.
As far as I'm concerned, that's an ideal trailer. Give me a ballpark asking price and I'll pass it on to him. I have no say in the matter. I just told him I'd look for him.
