I have an Apex'i N1 catback on my car with no silencer and I don't think it's loud at all. I have been in front of a lot of police in Bristol, VA and not been bothered. Now that I say that I am sure I will be. I have a 98 240SX SE btw. Oh and hi everyone, I new.

A lot depends on how you drive. My car is very loud, but I've never had a problem. I've even had a cop around here stop and bs with me about my car. Now, bosston on the other hand, has almost the identical exhaust setup but he has numerous complaints on him, and has been pulled over many times....all because he drives the shit out of his car around town

 

...yeah, I got pulled over on the way to bristol thursday night. It was for my license plate cover, and my exhaust. He made me take the cover off on the side of the road, and said I should have my exhaust changed so I don't get a ticket. He was driving along side of me and said I was rattling his windows

Didn't get a ticket though, which is good.
