I was driving up there for like a month cause of training for my job. I was also up there a few times recently because my son was transferred to Community's NICU.

I like your car.. alot of mods across the board to do alot of things. I mainly like the focus on handling though.. 99-00 Si's were my first "Honda" love kinda thing, thats what got me into Honda's really..

Although it's nice to see a new member that can type in complete sentences, and that makes sense when they talk, but alas, it's another Honda. It's to the point where I feel almost as if this is dragHONDA or dragWRX sometimes...

Although I do have to say that I'm glad to see that 1 out of the 999,999,999,999 Honda owners, this one seems to have grasped the need to make the suspension and brakes better. I guess I really should praise that, because it's nice to see one less Civic sitting on Ractive coilovers that bounces over every rock or spot of dirt on the road.

The wheel situation is understandable but I don't see why you would roll on two different style wheels instead of getting a matching set and selling the two that you had left over.. or even putting the stock SI wheels back on for the time being until you could save and put matching wheels on. That drives me crazy.

Oh well.. Just giving you a hard time.

Thanks for the complements guys. Ya I totally do agree that it is ANOTHER Civic. But at least I did get the SI model. They come with decent suspension to start off with but its nothing to brag about. Also like I mentioned on CCVT and most people know, is that Honda is renowned for having long braking distances. So OEM brakes just dont cut if for me.

As for the wheels. I bought the car used back in Sep 03 and it had 17" Racing Hakari HR F10's on it. So I dont have the OEM Enkies. Also the OEM's wont fit over the AEM rotors anyhow. I would have matching rims if the Hakari's hadnt gone out of production over 5 years ago. So I got stuck. Also at the time I couldnt afford a full set of Superleggeras. It drives me crazy too having 2 different set of rims. But most people dont ever notice, due to thier somewhat similarities. The rim story is pretty long. The cliff notes is in my first post.

I would have ordered a set of 16" Rotas but that boat has been beat to death. Besides you dont see Superleggeras often.

The only place in the WORLD you can buy these wheels are from Stamford Tyre in Singapore. Originally Hakaris were a subsidiary of Buddy Club.

Also I used to have a 98 Civic LX a few years ago and I made my mistakes with that car and learned from it. Promising that I wouldnt make the same mistakes with this car.

(Pardon my spelling, its sucks sometimes.)
