Default Has anyone installed a car alarm before?

Just curious, as I plan on buying one, a very nice one, and was wondering if this is something I can install myself. I do all my own work on my car, but have never installed an alarm, and didnt know what all was involved. Just curious if someone has experience. I figure it cant be that hard, but just thought I'd double check.

If you can do stereo installation and things like that, you can do it.

Don't get a Code Alarm. They suck, I had to take mine off because it would thrown temper tantrums and not let me drive my own damn car.

YAY! time to rip apart the ENTIRE interior AGAIN!!!! have fun

your car def. needs one though... too nice to risk... especially after the incident this summer.... not to mention the sound system was such a pain in the ass to wire if anyone was to fuck it up i'd have to hunt them down and beat them till they're quadraplegic and feed them their sack with a spork.
