Anyone have an idea of what a Golf turbo runs in the 1/4? I saw a couple of them on Willy last night that seemed to be smoking all the mustangs, they tried to race me, but I know my limits. haha. The Talon is no speed demon. I saw the supra girl down there too, I thought you were following me at first so i turned into the ice cream place and I looked back and you were gone. False hopes I guess. haha.

 

Golf turbo? You mean GTI? From what I've seen a stock one runs low 14's in the ¼. There are a few on this board running in the low 12's/high 11's I believe.

Yeah, there were a few out one was a black one with gunmetal wheels... It's one of spooln 4's friends. I met him friday but don't remember his name... there was also a silver one his name is Adam.

 

I'm pretty sure stock ones are running high 14's as well. My cousin has a 20th Anniv. with a front mount, CAI, and a chip and he is only at mid 14's. He hit low 14's with his 00 GTI with less done though. The 20th has the 6spd so it's geared differently.

 

i would honestly shoot myself if i owned a car with a front mount that did a 14 sec pass....

 

Yeah he was real pissed, he only ran it for times b/c he couldn't get traction. He just stopped after he couldn't beat his 14.3.

 

What were you driving cootees? Was it on of the GST's, i think there was a red one and a white one. I was in my peice of dog shit talon, easy to spot, broken rim, primered fender, sqeaky steering. haha. I'm hard to miss.

There were two red gs-t's one lowered(greg aka elemental) other stock height(me), silver talon(andrew aka spooln 4), white gs-t... larry. All of these are 2g's.. I did see a 1g talon but I thought there was a girl driving it so I don't think that was you.
