After the excessive flood of new members joining to argue over some race, I have determined that this entire issue has become a giant clusterfuck. This excessive butthurt bullshit over whose car is faster just escalates further from internet arguing into other things. This is why the cops bother you when you're doing laps up and down williamson road. The laps hurt no one, the bullshit that always happens does.

From what I can tell, there was originally a race between a camaro and something. There was controversy over who won, and when people "let off." For one, I don't care who wins the little redneck-chariot race. Being a level-headed individual, despite my extremely odd and overactive sense of humor, I see it as my responsibility to try to help guide some of you away from the path that shit is headed down.

I saw a post that a member A of vadriven punked down member B of vadriven, and member C dared member A to try to punk him down. You see, looking at this, it's easy to conclude that this all started over a race. It's much bigger than that though. Your cars are some of your egos. I can't stress this enough that your car, the contents of your wallet, nor some of your extremely good looks matters at ounce when compared to your character. Your car is not you. Getting your ass beat and/or potentially ending up jail over something as stupid as whose car is faster is just ridiculous. I encourage you all to look at the big picture of life and realize that this race, and this williamson road pissing contest is insanely tiny in comparison to the levels which this is escalating to.

I see countless posts crying on here about cops harassing them. Why? Because it's been proven time, and time again that the car community can't handle congregation without crap like this happening... This situation has already escalated to potential violence, and can get worse, fast. Roanoke is a city full of idiots with a thug mentality.

Losing a race isn't the end of the world. If you don't think you lost, but others think you do... why moan? Just say "rematch?" and leave the petty drama out of it.

Again, this shit isn't going to go anywhere good... let it go. Try to place nice with one another, and I guarantee you'll all have a better time.

If your car is faster, let it do the talking...

I can rarely get onto this forum anymore without getting a headache. I didn't join this site to see people argue about who's honda is faster than this guys Porsche. I joined in hopes to find people who have the same hobby/interest as I do and to meet new people who are civilized. I hope people read the OP and can act like adults and enjoy the opportunity this site offers.
