Murphs muffler between the sheetz on south main and rt 42 does good work and there is bills muffler on north 42 who could take care of it as well. I recommend murph first. He always does good work for me and is a laid back old dude who is fairly priced.

Call and see who will do it cheaper.

Do all my work in my garage, so far learned how to weld on my exhaust

As for a muffler, I personally have a 2.5 turbo-back to a 2.5" STI muffler. Now that's 2.5" OD, not ID too.

I would pick up a WRX muffler, it will be less then 2.5" OD, then get a 2.25 to what ever the WRX adapter is and weld it on. My STI muffler was $70 shipped, WRX ones should be way cheaper.

I've been through a lot of mufflers, anything non-OEM will be loud, even with a good resonator. I stuck to an Altima 2.5s muffler until I went turbo. It was quiet and sounded ok. Now the STI muffler is pretty quiet and sounds pretty awesome.

There was a good exhaust shop in Woodstock but I can't remember the name. I would stick to H-burg though.
