<end extremely sarcastic rant mode>
Anyway, looks nice, but I agree with dan, for the money I'd have something different, specially since this has a chrysler badge on it, kinda sketchy. Shit, come to think of it, I could have an entire fleet of metro's, one to match every outfit I ever wore
yes....long live the metro. tryin to get another one...parts car. this one was towed in....terminal. one of the rods wanted to see blacksburg.....and made the other two go out with it....
its pretty! big pieces making little pieces. is it qrong i enjoy seeing this? even though it is just a metro?

i probably wouldn't but i'm just saying... like some ppl mentioned, it's basically a mercedes. but whatever. i went over to that dealership to see it and it looks pretty nice actually. i thought it looked pretty nice on tv, but it looks a lot better in person.
i may be wrong...but let me explain what chris was trying to convey.
it isnt the fact that it has a chrysler badge on. thats not the problem. the problem...is its a chrysler that costs just as much as a bmw, lexus or infiniti. You expect quality from those companys that accompanies the hefty price tag. from a marketing standpoint ( and im no marketing major)....but chrsyler is expecting to compete with some heavy ballers in that price range. Im not sure if the public is ready to meet that price half-way with chrysler...when they have the "upperclass" cars to choose from.
30-40k cars is a popular price range nowadays. Extreme competition...and i hope chrysler knows what its doing.
p.s saw it the other day myself...and i must say...it is very attractive.

Exactly, chrysler just hasnt had NEARLY the reputation for quality as the other companies. It isnt about the name, I would drive a damn daiwoo if I knew the thing was bulletproof, nice, and comparibly priced, but these companies just havent had good reputations in my opinion of being very reliable, and strong. MB would be different however, but just as Dan said, only because they have a higher quality standard IMO.
i agree with the marketing point. with chrysler's rep, the price tag is really hefty. BUT you gotta also undestand that the car was built pretty much by mercedes in germany and imported over. at least that's what i remember, correct me if i'm wrong. so the car could just as well come with a mercedes badge on it. which is why i brought it up. but yea, the avg consumer would not know that and therefore shy away from the 30k price tag. when you talk about the daewoo, it's kinda like this. if toyota and daewoo teamed together to make a car that was built at the toyota plants, wouldnt' you think it would be better?
