Default Chipping Services

Is there anyone around the Harrisonburg area that can chip ECU's and knows what they are doing? I have all the shit but don't want to be the one to do it seeing that I have never done it before, rather have someone with experience of soldering on a computer board do it......

I do alot of custom work on phone systems...aka bridgeing boards...fixing cold solder joints etc.....pretty much a board tech..what all has to be done...just adding a chip to existing boards...or making a socket onto a board that dosnt have one ??

I could do it myself but all my soldering irons and guns and shit suck, none of them seem to get hot enough to suck the solder out of the board and i don't want to crank the heat up too high for fear of damaging something.....but anyways, I think I might have gotten someone to do it, find out tonight. It is the in house sound guy at the bar i manage......he should be doing it for me tonight....

Aye.....the trick i have learned to de-solder was buying an vaccum pumped iron....or a basestation one.....

http://www.specialized.net/ecommerce...t%5Fid=104X940

that is a hot tip wth a vaccum line into the base...the one i have it a hot air soldering station...

Don't use an ungrounded gun, use an iron.
