hey joey...did u run on 93? or a mixture?

 

i had just enough 93 9n her to go from trailer to cas island at bristol...so pretty much straight 100. may have had a gallon or so in there. but..i was runnin about 34degrees of timing...adn still had no knock. gonna bump her some more, but the heat was messin with me. started hittin wheelspin pretty bad....smoked front tires HARD on launch. but...the back'ns were still hammerin me on.



ahh...the beauty of all wheel drive....

 

oh yeah....the car in my slip...that was Richard..with the SRT4. he had MAD wheelhop. but..we workin on that!

Nice! Good 60' times. You would have had the probe in the 1/8th...but 1/4 would have been interesting!

Naw that 60' sucks, not taking anything away from ya joey, just saying you have it in you to pull a better time. 1.8=good on a 2wd car, but awd has more in it, as I'm sure he knows, which is why i feel that 8.1 is a great time for that kinda 60'. Should be a 8.0 if you can get that 60' seriously down. The time is almost an 8.2, and your 60' is about a .1 off mine, so all things aside id imagine we're pretty close, however I was on 115 oct at the time, where as you were on lower oct, so id think u might have it. Keep toying with tire pressures and launch RPM's, and seriously ream the bastards out if they put that bastard cone up, as honestly i wish I had the last time I was out there. There just might be a 7.9 in her if you work at it.

 

thats what i was hoping for....but i was kinda pissed that no one wanted to run....arrgh!!

oh well...also keep in mind i was on 17psi and still needed more timing.
