Oh, ok... I remember your car. I did have a passenger, and I believe he waved back as I recall.... it's hard for me to see anything out of the passenger window with a passenger since the seat has to sit up pretty far due to the cage... and it really sucks for the passenger, haha!

I'd start saving for a tranny upgrade if you plan on further modding.

2-step was thrown my way as a suggestion but im not sure if i want to go there. Also not sure on how much power i am looking to get since like i said its my "dd". Right now im only wanting a setup for about 300 awhp cause appearantly thats the breaking point on a wrx. I know some guys running the setup i want and there trannys are doing fine at that number. But then again a guy told me hes got 500 hp on the stock tranny???? Not sure if thats true or not.

 

Your always going to have people that push the limit and get lucky. 500 legit hp on a stock tranny is a ticking time bomb. It really is only a matter of time before it lets go. Is 300awhp going to explode the tranny? Maybe, maybe not, it all depends on your driving style and frequency of driving it hard. My car is my DD as well, sucks.

 

I may be going with an STi tranny swap but not before reading up on more specs and comparing to see if its worth it. But right now im just looking for which turbo i want to go with and how much power i will get out of it. Wanted the VF34 but was told about the GT30 70R and the 50 trim. Still dont know yet.
