ok, i have been to quite a few mexican restarants since Em and i have been together, and found one today in botetourt, right off of 150B on I81, its the same as the one at tanglewood (where ground round used to be) i must say that has been the best one i have been to so far!

i dont remember the name, but the food was incredible, and the two of us ate for 21 bucks, which is pretty damn good by my standards.

El Grande Rodeo on Brambleton across from Kroger is good, as is El Guadalupes in Blacksburg.

i havent tried the one on top of Bent Mtn, anyone been there?

mi puerto's here on radford main street is pretty decent, and seems very very cheap. the live mariachi band was off the hook too, but that was only a specific day.

 

Lynchburg = La Carreta

Its the best mexican place I have ever ate at.

On Tuesdays me and my fiance can go and its $23. Thats for both dinner, dessert and abour 4-5 marguaritas a peice.. Tuesday is $1 marguarita night at one of them and wed. is $1 night at the other 2 (we have a total of 3)

You ate at Racho Viejo's today. I have not personally been there to eat, but I hear it is very good.

thanks for the name, i was on the way home from getting a truckload of oil and stuff for the shop, and i saw it, so we ate there. it was very very good, the chicken was some of the best i have had in a while. it was spicy, but not too bad for this poor ole white boy to handle.

 

i like Mexican food but it dont like me. i used to like Chi Chi's in Roanoke when it was open. awesome food. too bad its closed

El Puerto on Williamson!
All time greatest......Casa Rio in San Antonio on the riverwalk. Almost killed one of my best friends there by hazing him to drink while we were in the military! Lots of good and bad memories there and the food is truely incredible!!!!

Cinco De Mayo on south south main in bburg, Dos Equis on tap = lunchtime happiness

 

El guads has 5 dollar pitchers, and all the burritos and free chips you could want. I dont see how it could get any better
