Default back to n/a.......and loving it

I'll be bringing the crx back to blacksburg. I took the turbo off because it cracked two ringlands and blew my headgasket. anyway, heres then new n/a setup.

mini-me a6 block/ y8 head
head p&p and 3 angle vj
crower rods/ je pistons --new cr = 12.4:1
zdyne fully tunable ecu
intake/exhaust/test pipe

i don't have vtec working right now but i expect to be around 130 at the wheels when i get everything hooked up, i know its not crazy hp but the car is really fun to drive and since i did all the work myself it just feels that much better.

see you guys back at school

oh and i picked up a p28 ecu at the bone yard if any of you gsr/itr guys need an extra one to get chipped.

that just meant ya had to throw more boost to it!

hope to see ya around some....i may be getting this CRX on the road we got here, its more of a "$600 buys five cars, make one that runs" kinda deal

yeah, i was the one with the home brewed getto turbo kit at the meet.

Marshall, theres only so much that tuning can help with stock a6 pistons at 10psi.

what would be really interesting is to throw the turbo kit back on right now with the high compression. I hear if your tuning is right and you run high octane gas, it can make one sick motor.

oh and its all about the budget build, if you can get one of those crx's on the road for $600 it will all be worth it.

oh and Dan, we'll definitely go for a ride. i just need to quiet up the exhaust. the first time i took it out on the roads after the build i got pulled by a cop for exhaust noise. it was a nice one, he let me go.

I am in a simular situation. My turbo teg was low on compression in one cy and it was wrecked soon after. Now im putting a a6 in my 90 std civic. Using p29 pistons with the y8 headgasket, exospeed race cam, diy head port , and aem cam gear. Im going to get a chip burner soon and il be running the s-afc till then. I should be at bristol when the streetfights open up.

oh, and you compression is way to high for turbo. It would be way way to easy to screw up, and it wouldnt be good on pump gas.
