well like i said, i did my best and thats what matters. and i know you werent saying that the hp was pathetic. but i dont really think my time slip is either. And i thought i'd be in the 7's too but maybe it just takes more practice. But anyhow- it has 4.30's

but at least parts are cheap for them...i think you could get a full dogbox tranny for a GSX for about 1800 last i recall, and same thing for my WRX is 4500 plus install labor in the original case....

Well, there are a few pulling those numbers out of a 14b, but not many at all.. not many people even give them a chance before they blow it or decide to upgrade.

same shit....second gear made onto the mainshaft....700 for a new shaft.....
better then the 1200 for just a set of gears for mine...and i had to reuse the subshaft off of my old ones...GRRR!!!
still putting it back together.....got the gearbox assembled, and was installing the transfercase to it, when i couldnt get the transfer case to tighten up without the mainshaft getting in a bind.
well....after pulling my hair out (
or lack therof!) i was searching through the box that had my gears in it...and in the bottom of the peanuts there was a thrust washer.....
well.....the mainshaft 4&5 gears were 1/8" out of mesh, and the thrust washer i found was 1/8" thinner then the one on the car....
sooooo...i get to split the case YET AGAIN and press every damn gear back off of the shaft to install this washer, and then go from there.
not to mention that the throwout bearing for my car is 151 bucks.....and no aftemarket one avail easily.....
that, and when i order my parts from shelors, of course ya have to give them the VIN number, and the dude on the phone is like "oh, THAT car......lets add this onto the warranty notifications, shall we..."
fuckers.
