A bud of mine that I am constantly giving crap over not ever taking his turbo buick to the track supposedly went and ran last night. Anyone see a black buick T type with DRs running low 8s there last night?

He wouldnt tell me his 60fts because he said "I suck at launching" but said his best was 8.12 @ 84mph which is a little slower than that car is capable of IMO (unless of course he sucks REALLY bad at launching it).

Anyways, I hightly doubt he went to the track and am going to give him ten times more crap for fibbing to me if he didnt as well as being able to tell him his cars are "garage queens 100% of the time" instead of only 99.9%.

Its not a huge deal really but if I find out he didnt actually go its another excuse for me to give him a hard time or make him buy the beer to get me to shut up and not give him a hard time.

Hes a cool guy and being buds we're always giving each other crap but he HATES it more than anything when I call his modded cars garage queens .

Cool... I was thinking the mph should have been a couple mph higher since I ran 8 flat at 86 prolly 4 or 5 years ago down in NC but Id have to dig up those old time slips to be sure. God only knows where I put em since I havent seen them in eons .

 

Shelor must be killing NB because there is hardly any cars there on Friday nights anymore. Who goes to Shelor on Friday nights? are there very many people there?

 

it's not that there are a lot of cars at shelor taking away from NB, it's just that attendance is down everywhere...kinda sucks.

8.12 @ 84 had to be a good 60ft...or tapping the brakes at the end
