anyone alive in Harrisonburg? WAKE UP!
From the cars you listed it sounds like you enjoy expensive cars more than fast ones, but fair enough. Harrisonburg itself contains few even faster than stock imports, most of the cars around here are student rides and because we are all transplants, ie, not originally from here, you won't see us at the local spots. And almost none are on this board, so you'll probably have a hard time meeting those of us in the hburg. By the way, my name is Travis.

Why so negative? It's possible the get the sceene going. I already met 3 other Z owners and one of the G35 guys.
and I do like fast cars. It's just a coincidence that expensive cars usually go faster
not you're gonna tell me how you know someone with a civic that does 10 s. ok, but does it still have a back seat and stereo? Will it break randomly in traffic?
so to rephrase, I like good looking sports cars, not to be confused with compact race cars.

I wasn't being negative, I introduced myself and informed you of the obstacles you will face in getting people to meet around here...especially when the weather turns bad.
MadisonMotorsports will hold their annual car show in the spring, that will be a good time to see local cars and meet people but it is a long way away.
And since that club is not for you, but that club is where the real enthusiasts are, good luck.

I'm with Travis. There are some ricey-ass persons around here, but if you're looking for real racing and Go-fast enthusiasts, MM'ers are the people to know.
Yes, we try to go to the track instead of dick around on the street, mostly, because it's more fun. And just because a car is not expensive, doesn't mean it's not fast, and it doesn't mean it's a shitbox. Besides, if you're talking about a back seat...you ever sat in the back of a G35? M3? Not a good place to be. I'd rather have the back seat of a 4 door civic any day of the week. And a Z doesn't even have a back seat! So I'm not quite sure of your argument there.
I'm not going to go as far as to say that MM is the "harrisonburg scene", but if you want a cohesive, fairly organized group that actually knows what the hell they're talking about, you could do worse than us.
And as far as fast cars, fast women, radar detectors and police scanners...well my BCT-7 is wired into my car, my Cobra sits in my glovebox, the Supra is fast as balls on crack (when it runs right) and my woman...
Well my woman drives a cavalier. 3/4 isn't bad.
