like i said i just got a few mods on mine...........but my dad's civic is a 1.5 with just a 40 shot of nitrous and runs low 13's, don't underestimate a 1.5 single cam, or any single cam for that matter.
if you would like to know what the engine has...here it is:
Gude port/polished throttle body
Gude port/polished intake manifold
Gude stage 2 head
Gude stage 2 cam
Gude reprogrammed ecu
DC Sports 4-2-1 header
Cold air intake
MSD ignition and blaster coil
Full custom exhaust, not bought......built!

Not to doubt a 13 second run on 40 Shot, But I want to see time slips.

I would love to race a 13 second civic. But my guess is it is closer to 15+, But I could be wrong. it may have a hell of a top end, but out of the hole with that setup, I don't believe it.

Just to prove it, Why don't we meat up at Elelr's tonight at say 7 or 7:30 and we can talk the shit, and bring timeslips. I'm going to get my bottle filled right now. I may bring a white eclipse with me also. but I am very confident that a little red civiv with top end work will never have a chance. Anybody else wants to join us, come on out. If you can't tonight name a time tommarrow night and I will be there.

He say is "should" run 13's but i dunno, it runs pretty descent for a 1.5, i'll see if he'll let me bring it out.

well i may be out Saturday but I doubt my car will be with me, i think I bent a couple of valves tonight. Oh well, I see a top end rebuild in my future. a little port and polish and valve job. it should be sweet. So you are off the hook on the race this time, next time I am in town its on.

 

lol, that sux! I should have my new motor soon with a stage 2 or 3 cam and titanium valves, springs, and retainers. I might put a small shot of nitrous on it too. I'm just gonna get the head and intake manifold done first, then do rods and pistons.

 

OK, for those who were not there, the cruisers in Bristol have lost their minds. I used to think Roanoke had a good scene but after last night I have to hand it to Bristol. The best part is summer isn't even here. It can only get better.

To recap the night:
dozens of burnouts on state street
races left and right
dozens of people and cars parked and no cops to bother us
but the best part was definately when we walked a lap, Bought 1 dozen donuts, then walked up to three police cruisers and asked if they wanted some.

I don't see this lasting very long. But if it does, it will be awesome.

 

omg i didn't stick around at eller's to see the donught thing. Probably for the best, i probaby would have gotten us arrested.

well i havent been to an autox in a while. I didnt do soo hot but it is still fun. At one event AJ schooled me and at another i schooled him. I think there will be one in early april so maybe you should go. Its all in the driver skills.
