i have the 14 runs or so from my dyno tuning session last month and would love to get them online but i have no clue how to do so w/ the new miniDV camcorder i got.

Anyone have such skills and willing to help?

As long as you can connect your camera to your computer pretty much anyone can do it. If you have a plug n play compatible computer you just hook your camera to a wire and the wire to the computer and it should guide you through the process.

 

If I had some free time on the weekend or Thursday afternoon I could probably do it for you then. Did you want them edited or just downloaded and put online?

 

well a little of both - i was giving away some valuable info on each dyno run that the guy doesnt want me to share w/ the z community - so i need that part of my voice cut out on each.
Is that doable?

Wagz: I can either edit out the audio or just make the volume drop so you can't hear it. Of course you'd have to pay me off as to not tell your secrets to everyone. But I'll settle for a ride along as payment. Let me know when you're free. I'm around this afternoon until about 5, or tomorrow I'll be free after 2 till whenever as long as the hurricane doesn't blow up my apartment.

Can i just drop off the tape to you and let you work your magic? I am super busy cuz i leave friday at 7am for nopi and still have to pack, get the Z back from the stereo shop, just got the tahoe back 2nite etc etc

 

I'd need you to bring your camcorder also (and the AC adapter) since the camera I use doesn't support mini DV. I'd also need directions on exactly what you wanted edited, how you wanted it put together, what you wanted edited out, and do you want it edited so you can just put it up online, or did you want a copy put back onto the DV tape so you can play it at shows or something?
