ANY JOBS IN HARRISONBURG?
Alright guys, looking for a part time job in Harrisonburg. I am a full-time student at James Madison University, and would like to take a burden off the rents and pick up a part time job to pay for expenses. Can do anything really, but expect pay to be correlated with the work.
Info:
-20 years of age
-James Madison University Student Full-Time
-Accounting Major
-Absolutely clean driving record
-Extremely easygoing, people person
-Proficient with math (see Accounting Degree)
-Proficient with Computer Information Systems (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access)
-Planning on seeking out work in Accounting Firm, or enlisting in the Navy after graduation
Past Work:
Heron Ridge Golf Course/Signature at West Neck Golf Course
Golf Galaxy Retail Golf Store
Summer Winds of Virginia Beach
In all aspects of past work, I had to hold customer relationships to the highest degree, as my contact with them was an all day occurance.
-At both golf courses, reliability to show up in the morning (4:45 am in summer), enjoyment of work, and a happy-go-lucky attitute were reflected.
-Golf Galaxy employed me as a golf club tech. I was in sales of golf equipment, so the necessary information on vast quanitities of clubs was needed, in which I had no problem relating to the customer. Sales goals were set (although not on commission), so I had to break down what needed sold to reach X amount of dollars over X sales period.
-At Summer Winds I was employed as cashier/security. Tourists and locals frequented the shop, as we receieved over 1,000 customers daily, over a 15 hour work day. I was in charge of ridding the shop of all non-buyers, negligent shoppers, and shoplifters.
I can work around ~25 hours a week, doing pretty much anything, and if any more information is needed, feel free to ask.
If you know of anything, or need personal help around the yard or such, please let me know. My availabilty can be given over pm's.
Thanks for any help, just trying to help out the rents and have some money to get Christmas presents bought.

What can you do? I mean, what are your qualifications other than washing cars and golf carts?

What do you want the qualifications to be of a 20 year old college student?
Oh wait, because there are TONS of people on here that just have high school diplomas, and can make money without qualifications.

Wait... I'm 20, in college, and I have a resume of qualifications a page long. Mmm... Am I the only one like this?

Dude, do you have any other qualifications or what? If not, that's fine, you're in college. I was just trying to help you. If you have no other qualifications, you're going to be best working at a shop somehwere around where you live.
