If you kill the engine first, then the line lock selonoid should not have power to operate, unless he wired it unsafely...generally you should have a master kill switch that turns battery power on, then from there you turn individual systems on, so one switch kills everything in the event of an emergency.
So two things went wrong, throttle stuck and power wasn't turned off, it's a wonder the roll cage saved him. A properly fitted throttle linkage will almost never stick, I'd say maybe 2% of the time if that, and well the wiring/power issue is all human error. So, looks like he's got a plane to fix too!

What he was trying to say was he was doing the timed runs so he could see what the car was running even if you red light you can still see what the car would run. It didn't matter if he won or not it was the time runs. If it was during the Reg. runs then yeah he would be automatically out.

the point is marshalls comment was uncalled for. and all he gained by it was pissing alot of ppl off an more than he really knows. now he will have a few less ppl showing up. (not saying it will hurt him) and as for ppl sucking his dick over his "race car" what car would that be the skyline....yea its a nice ride but i dont recall anyone sucking his dick over that.
