I have a redtop SR20DET in my 240 right now. It runs great, no lean spots at all. I've played around with upping the boost to 14psi in the early days, but I've kept it at stock boost for years since then due to the fact that my intention was using it on the track and i was wanting to keep reliability as high as possible. You can ask any of my friends on VA Driven, stock boost FTW for me. Oh, i've done a compression test a few weeks ago... the results came out 157,157,155,161(stock is 155, so i think my motor was rebuilt in Japan). I ran an S2000 with exhaust (dont know what else it had) and pulled it on so that show the motor runs how it should. it comes with everything so its a direct swap.

I'm looking to build a KA-T, so I'm looking for a straight up trade. What i'm looking for specifically is a healthy KA with after market pistons and rings. If the head comes with cams, that would be nice too since thats part of my plan.

Since thats pretty picky, i wouldn't mind trading for a freshly built KA as well plus cash.

I'll just throw this out there but I have two ka24e complete swaps.

One comes with a automatic tranny

The other comes with a 5spd tranny

Both run great.

I'll trade both straight up.

 

looking for a good KA24DE, preferably built. It dosn't do me any good having two SOHC motors.

straight up trade? i have a older ka(dohc, over 200 thou) but i have pistons, block, oil pump, radiator, misc parts, so i doubt that is even close to what your looking for for, but worth a shot

 

what kind of piston? We may have a winner =D

btw, im lookin for some cash on the KA side of course lol.
