Im looking for a STOCK MKII or MKIII. I would rather have a Golf than a Jetta but im really not being picky considering i like both of them alot.

 

I'm sure you already have but just throwing out you might want to check VWvortex.com. They have a ton you just might have to travel a bit.

I have a stock, rare, 1986 VW Jetta Coupe, running with barely any rust for $1000...let me know if you're interested. Check my thread for pics. Obviously the suspension, wheels and strut bar, in the pics are not stock...but stock springs and struts, stock wheels and no strut bar, will go with the car.

 

I have a friend that has a 97 Jetta GLX VR6. It has 200k miles but he's done a lot of preventative maintenance. Runs good and pulls hard. I think he wants around $2500. Not 100% sure on the price. PM me if your interested.
