Let me say upfront this is for only for those that can get on military bases. Anyways, the USCG base @ yorktown recently redid their Auto hobby shop. It features:

• 6 bay garage
• 2 two post car lifts
• four post car lift
• 2 commercial vacuum cleaners
• wash/detail bay
• wheel mounter/balancer
• 6 full chests of snap on tools
• every other automotive tool under the sun (spring compressors, engine lifts, air tools, Flat benches, drill presses, a parts washer, sand blaster, etc.)
• 3 flat screen TVs

Depending on what bay you get (2 post lift, no lift, etc) it's around $3-5 an hour, or I think $30 for a full day. No extra charge for use of special tools/machines. You can literally do anything from an oil change to an engine swap at this place. You can also store your car their overnight for bigger jobs. Also there are other auto hobby shops on other bases, but as far an cleanliness and quality of tools/equipment, this place blows everyone else out of the water. The one on NOB requires a easy test. Yorktown has no tests, just dont be retarded.


And the quality of tools/etc on yorktown blows away every other auto hobby shop around (NOB, Langley, etc)

I will +1, +2 or where ever we are about the York town Hobby shop, it shits all over Base Portsmouths, actually it takes a mexican shit into a potato gun and then fires it in the face of the base portsmouths hobby shop, Fucking hate that place.
