Horrible. Absolutely horrible.

Ross screwed me over long before I'd ever find out.

He used the wrong (non-OEM) bolts on my inner left front CV joint (AWD). The PROPER bolts (6 of them) are threaded approximately half an inch, another half an inch is non-threaded and thick, like a spacer. The bolts he used (up to 6) are threaded the entire length of the bolt. What this caused was some play in that area that wasn't supposed to be threaded. That play lead to 1 of the bolts shearing and falling out, 3 of the bolts dropping out, and then finally the last 2 giving out in my parking lot causing my CV joint to flail about, knocking an air conditioner compressor sensor clean off, leaving sheared bolt inside threaded differential flange, and destroying the boot and emptying out all of the grease within that boot.

$300 in parts later (leaving the AC sensor as is until it gets hot again), I'm going to be replacing what $7.80 for 6 bolts + 6 washers would have cost if he did shit the right way. I wish he would have just contacted me and told me: look, I don't have all the proper bolts. I would have GLADLY sourced ALL OEM PARTS REQUIRED and had them to him within a week. Instead, $7.80 in overlooked pieces costs me $300 AND my time to repair, not to mention added down-time of no ride.

Also, the oil cooler he installed is STILL LEAKING. I hate to say it but I'm glad he's closed. Maybe he should have charged an extra $100-200 more and give me a better guarantee of his work. Whoever recommended him must have had kiddy shit like an exhaust installed by him.
