It was a great and bad weekend all at the same time. Friday I was late getting there, but hung out in the parking lot with a bunch of RX7 guys from DC area. One of them worked at Peter Ferrel's shop (Major RX7 tuner). Watched honda ricers street race the main drag until late. Saturday was beautiful! Wet and sprinkles early, but it cleared later. I had a student in an 3rd gen RX7 and another in an E?6 BMW. track dried first session and was dry and weather got up to 76 degrees, sunny. Had lunch with NC Mazda club (they bring grill and do it all up right). No incidents. Good students. RichRotorhead did well all day. Went out with 15 people for diner, then crashed.

Sunday..... Wet, cold, rain, cold, and... WTF?? SNOW!!! we left early. Saturday was such a good day it was still a great weekend.

did you say rich crashed (i'm assuming on a public road). is he ok, and how bad off is the 7

Nope... I heard that there was one 3rd gen that had guard rail impact pretty hard, and another one that just touched the guard rail with the nose. But Rich ran great all weekend. He did really well.
