The biggest autocross event of the year in Hampton Roads is back:

Tidewater Sports Car Club Presents:
The 2007 Tidewater Z Auto Service Joy Fund Charity Autocross

When:
• Saturday and Sunday, September 15th and 16th, 2007

Where:
• Assault Craft Unit 4 (ACU-4) on the Little Creek Amphibious Base in Norfolk, VA

Cost:
• $75 - Payment link here.

What is included:
• 4 run event on Saturday
• 4 run event on Sunday
• Event T-shirt
• Lunch on both days
• Goodie Bag

Trophies:
• Trophies will be awarded based on a cumulative time to include the best time from each day.
• One Trophy for one to three entrants in a class; two trophies for four to six entrants in a class; three trophies for seven to nine entrants in a class; one additional trophy for every four additional entrants or fraction thereof (e.g., six trophies for 18 entrants).

Additional details:
Limited to 150 cars with a 20 car waiting list. We will be using the split-day format as with previous ACU-4 events this year. Please register any guests (not riding in your vehicle) on the access list.

Anybody know if they get any Fmod cars there? I'm thinking about making the drive down, but it would suck to be the only SoloVee....

 

Nobody runs in FM locally, but you never know who might show up for an event like this.

Okay, I'm signing up, and I'm trying to bring a couple D.C. guys with me... If we can fit my Vee and a STS2 CRX in an enclosed trailer together, it'll be making the trip down too...

We have a couple guys running CM Formula Fords. So you will have someone to compare your times with.

I would love to see some of the DC guys come down. I wish I could find the time to make the trip up to your region. I'd like to see how I would fair in the serious competition up there.
