So who goes for drives through Pungo??
carefull running around out there at night at any decent speed. i can't count how many times i've had animals of all kinds jump out in front of me/ be sitting in a blind corner.
i almost hit the UNDERSIDE of the bike in front of me one time when he was on the brakes hard enough to lift the rear wheel to avoid a deer.

Where is this? I assume it's in VA Beach somewhere but I'm kinda interested in heading down there to see for myself.

Its the area on the South end of Virginia Beach and Chesepeake before and a little into NC. There are many twisties out there and even some with slight elevation changes and little to no traffic at all. They are not the same as the crazy roads around the Richmond area but the best collection of twisties around here, IMO. I like going out there when work or racing is pissing me off and just unwinding. I mostly go on my bike but like to hit it up every now and again in the Focus through there. Oh and to Scrooz, don't hate cuz I am still able to enjoy going fast unlike your punk ass!

i just started riding bout a month ago and my friend told me if i go down towards NC near knotts island there's and overpass with a good view so being i never really took those roads before i go down princess anne road all the way to knotts island area NC and besides that little arse bridge where ppl go fishing aint go on no damn overpass, and i went down near knotts island ferry and just headed back, come to find out he meant pungo ferry road which i rode right past. since then yeah i take those roads when i can while the suns out, i usually come from princess anne then take mt pleasant and whatever roads down that way and head back on ches expressway to 64, 264, and back to where i live in va beach.
i try riding to work and joyriding when i can, next couple days look like theyre gonna suck weather wise with ernesto though.

I defenitely enjoy driving through Pungo, especially over the bridge towards Blackwater where you can really open it up. That brings me to a question, does anybody drive down towards Blackwater? Used to live down there and its not that far, about 15 min from Crossroads at Mt. Pleasant and Centreville in Chesapeake (Great Bridge/Hickory area) 2 lane twisty roads, prefer at nite when you see no cars, but I do suggest driving through in day first to see turns because there are some good straights with curves and turns in places you might not see at nite if you are unfamiliar with road. Anybody?
