?!? Yeah, I couldn't stay clean that day so I had to tone it down to get a clean run on my last run.
We will see how you do on a longer, more open course
. And no, I have never been to Cloverleaf before, but I have done aut-x's on courses with gradients. In fact, at the SCCA National Tour in Washington, DC, if you stood on one side of the course, you could not see the other side due to the change in gradient. Now that was an interesting course to run

I know Pungo is more suitted towards my car, but you should own me all day at a place like VMP.
I guess the course was more slick than VMP, but I don't blame that on my poor performance. I have been auto-x'ing seriously now for about a year and I am always learning new things about the sport.
Well today I learned another big lesson: HP + Worn Out R-Compound Tires = Slow and NO FUN
(Jerry, I now feel your pain!!)!!!
Even in th places where I know you needed to go slow, the back end was all over the place, which is something I have not felt in my car in a long time. Hell, I think if I had my street tires on today I would have had better grip
!!
Oh well, and Dave, good job today with your times. Doesn't it feel good when things start to come together?
